Who We Are

Our History

Serving Siouxland Boys & Girls for Over 55 Years!

1968: The Club gained its charter from the Boy’s Clubs of America. The Club rented the Armory Building from the 133rd National Guard Infantry Division while they were serving in the Vietnam War. September 17, 1968 was the ribbon cutting ceremony and first day in its new facilities. Any boy between the ages of 8 – 18 years old could join and membership was just $1.00 per year.  Gail Dupree was the first member.  Within 30 days, membership had soared to 267 boys.

1970: The Armory was purchased from the State of Iowa and named in honor of Jesse E. Marshall, a local attorney.
